No surprises

I never expected to be ordering clothes from M&S, but I have. I’ve lost a considerable amount of weight during the last eight weeks and there are certain essential  items that just don’t fit!!!! 

I had a dental appointment this afternoon, I only booked it yesterday and the first time given was 9.30 tomorrow, then they rang back with an offer of 4pm today!!! Brilliant, as I’m not an early bird at the best of times. 

L my dentist is a gem, she is so chatty which helps to relax the situation. I had updated my medical records on line, so she was aware of what I have been up to. She resolved my problem in less than 20minutes. What a contrast to the school dentist in Carlisle when I was a child ...... nightmare memories !!! 

When we got home B tackled the job of replacing the cord in the curtain track on the landing. It turned out to be a two person job, but we got it done in the end!!!
