Purple and wrinkly (Day 1965)

I spent the morning crawling around in the eaves of a house running pipe for a new radiator. Everything was going really well until I tried to re-fill the central heating circuit and found that the filling valve was stuck closed. I zoomed to town to get a new valve, then back to the job to fit it and fill the system.
Home for a very quick, late lunch, then off to Stromness to check a couple of things on a job for M, before sorting out a boiler issue for another customer and giving them a bit of advice on another couple of things. The are the new owners of a house I have worked in frequently over the past 10 years, so I know the house better than they do at the moment. 
Back to M's job to isolate and remove the shower so he could continue tearing out the shower enclosure.
Home to spend some time catching up with  my beautiful wife.
