Biking in the treetops

Too many good photos from his birthday weekend to choose from.

We had a great time in Limburg, eastern Belgium. I found out later that my friend who lives in the Netherlands was in Limburg too on the Dutch side obviously, we really have to coordinate and wave to each other across the border. I really miss her and I can't hop on a train and visit, this is getting very wearing. Feeling it because this was the first 'double' family birthday not celebrated together in years.

But we made the most of it and really enjoyed this corner of Belgium that it's taken us 20 years to discover! Cracking weather and the best cycling infrastructure I've seen anywhere (and I'd include half of Holland in that :-) )
