New book - In Her Shoes

I'm trying to not to buy new books given how slowly I'm reading my way through the pile - but this one felt important. It's a collection of stories from the women of Ireland on their experiences as a result of the Eighth Amendment - which made abortion a crime unless it was to prevent the immediate death of a woman. While the campaign to repeal the amendment was successful there's sadly still a way to go in ensuring everyone who needs help can access it, and proceeds from the book go towards helping women in need.
