back up xianshan for a gentle walk without any ulterior motive, the local gods having slipped up yesterday making certain that there was a lack of interesting light...they did however release some blue magpies but the light was murky and the mosquitoes prevalent and peckish.... walking down through light drizzle by the cat temple to find that a couple of buildings down below it have been bulldozed opening up a second row of statues lining the road, mad monks and temporary structures...it almost sounds as if there's a lesson in there somewhere....
