Life after Burradoo, NSW

Just turning

Ideally, I would have photographed our hedge a day or two ago but we have had grey, windy days. It is just turning slightly bronze from its brilliant red display.

It's due for a trim but we have been reluctant to have it done before it did its glorious red thing. We have hedges of some sort on all four boundaries of our quarter acre block. That's about 100m of hedges!! Now, the challenge is that no-one really wants to trim 100m of photinia and pittosporum hedges and I can't reach to do the top anymore. Our usual excellent guy earns more money climbing massive trees. Ah well, one more recommended person coming to give a quotation this week. Fingers crossed.

The extra is the same front hedge but taken from the opposite end.
