Quiet drive home.

First day back at work after a holiday is never the best day but the blow was softened by fantastic weather, a perfect late summer's day.

Really felt for the lovely lady who phoned to say the dogs had knocked over some of her succulents breaking some leaves and a container. She was having such success.

I had agreed to do some extra hedge work after the normal day finished in the garden of a lovely old guy who had bumped into me in the supermarket car park some months earlier. Didn't really relish the idea of another 2 hours but, when I got there, it was just great, he was so pleased and so friendly, he might become my new favourite customer and the drive home through gorgeous countryside was very enjoyable.
