Finlarig castle

A faulty water pump meant an unscheduled trip to Perth. Found a lovely antique centre with even lovelier tea room en route so had a very pleasant time there.

This evening a walk to Loch Tay with the dogs only to find blue green algae had been discovered there at the weekend so two disappointed dogs.

However we passed the ruined Finlarig castle on the walk so had an explore. This is the mausoleum which was already out of use in 1922 when Sir Gavin Campbell, the 17th Laird of Glenorchy and 4th Marquess of Breadalbane was buried, having been built in 1830.

Some more great photo opportunities there but need to go before the light starts dropping.

All in all a lovely day and no rain so an added bonus.
