Saladin assembled

The farmer who's campsite we were staying on has an interest in old farming and military vehicles. There are examples in various states of repair and restoration in the yards, paddocks and barns. The last time I saw this Saladin tank the turret was yet to be reinstalled but now it looks as if the job is complete.

I had a 'Matchbox' model of it's sister vehicle - a Saracen Armoured Personnel Carrier - when I was a little younger, shall we say. It's certainly an intriguing item for a farm - a machine for killing people in amongst the machines for feeding people. Says it all, in a way.
