Holiday Monday

Not working it wasn't really a holiday for me but it ended up getting like one. Swim first (suitably silent, with no talking women swimming backwards), then a good walk round Mortonhall and the Braids with E. We had coffee in the sun in the Stable Bar courtyard. Then a quick cycle down to the Manor for the physio visit. I spent most of it on the phone to the flu line. No joy and I felt sorry for the poor girl who'd been given a job with clearly inadequate training and no information back up.

Cycled home, into a headwind, then a trip down to Porty to see the art in the last of the sun. There were still folk on the beach, and in the sea, in a bikini! Sadly my 2 x gt grandparents' gravestones are now broken and almost illegible in St Mark's Churchyard. It wasn't like that the last time I was there, not that long ago.

Then home to eat and watch TV. I have papers to read but I think I will wait till tomorrow, it's a holiday after all and I cycled 8 miles, swam for 45 mins and did 14.5k steps.
