A beach front institution

This morning I noticed the boarded up windows for the first time. This popular seafront bar has now been sold and will be converted back to residential use. It will be missed by many and especially by all the local musicians who have enjoyed the legendary evening sessions and the longer ones on Sunday afternoons.

By virtue of video link I convened a meeting that in Pre Covid times would have taken place in Budapest. It went well but is not a substitute for the real thing!

The sun came out in the afternoon but there was a definite autumnal nip in the early morning air.

Further Covid restrictions for us all seem inevitable following today’s gloomy medical updates from south of the border.
