Up on the roof

When we had all that heavy rain a week ago, we noticed a puddle of water on the top of the wood burning stove in the living room. Oops.....that should not have been there!!! We looked up and saw the streaks of damp running down the stainless steel flue pipe. Once the rain stopped things dried up but the problem just had to be investigated in the sunshine this weekend. So N and J got the ladders out, climbed the 20 feet up onto the roof and nonchalantly sat there discussing the matter. Some remedial work was carried out and we should find out on Tuesday (more heavy rain in the way) if they have been successful.
