Last day of summer

We enjoyed a lovely sunny walk by the river Nith this afternoon. This photo shows the Devorgilla footbridge taken from the Buccleuch Bridge.
The Nith is a tidal river which floods the Whitesands a couple of times each year. I never tire of walking here.
