OLD and NEW

In the vain hope that we will get some NEW potatoes from these OLD seed potatoes come Christmas we decided to plant them this morning.  They were left over from the main crop earlier this year. We used the bags from the main crop, I hope the compost has some life left in it (I did add a little plant food).
 
At the last moment I thought that that followed today’s MonoMonday theme, “Old and New”.  So a quick photo session, which delayed the planting, with the knock on effect of a delayed lunch.


Of course all those microscopic specs of dust on the mirror that you thought you had cleaned off shine up in the photo.  Thank heavens for the PS sticking plaster (‘Spot healing brush’!).
