Gameland Pond, With Reflections

We have been going lots of places lately. But finally a day arrived in which we did not drive anywhere. Instead, we walked up the hill from our house and took a nice hike in our local gameland, the Scotia Barrens. It was delightfully chilly and sunny and crisp, with blue skies.

We had a hot, dry summer, and many of the beaver ponds are running low, with some of the smaller pools entirely dry. But I managed to find some nice reflections on this one. It is dark along this edge, but light is shining on the other side.
