OLD INDIAN

I was at the track shooting vintage races this weekend. The VSCDA (Vintage Sports Car Drivers Association) always has a showing of vintage motor vehicles at a nearby resort and they call it Gather on the Green. Usually it's held on the resort's lawn but for some reason it was held on the asphalt parking lot this year. It's better on the lawn...nicer venue.

This is the twin cylinder mill of a 1918 Indian Powerplus motorcycle. I love motorcycles, especially the old ones. If I had Jay Leno's money I'd have a stable full of them...mostly to look at and admire the technology of the time.

EXTRAS:  the first photos shows the kick starter and shot two shows the whole beast. Modest by today's standards but the real deal at the turn of the century.
