Mono Monday - Old and New

I noticed that the old wild oats were still in place and the new ones had just grown up around them.  Thought they could make a good contrast of old and new.  Love the delicate shapes in the husks of the old ones and the sleekness of the new, not bad in mono either ; o)

Thanks for all the love for the big swan yesterday, there’s another shot of it in extras today which shows a bit more detail, incredible amount of work done to produce this beauty!   Also in extras is my second choice for Old and New with the wild oats and a kookaburra feather, the macro shot won out! :o)
