Move over driver

We’re heading west into the desert again to one of favourite outback station stays. Lara Station Wetlands. It’s great for birds and sunsets. It’s off grid, so Ziggy’s all stocked up with food and water.

There’s the occasional open cut mine out this way. Sometimes you pass wide load trucks transporting mining vehicles and have to go two wheels off the sealed surface to let them through. This one was so wide that he had a police escort going ahead to clear the road completely.
