Dog on the dock

She was checking her phone, and the dog waited patiently.
Blue sky and sunshine this morning but cool, definitely feeling like fall. Good air quality, so I took advantage of that and the lovely weather to go for a walk. I hadn't been down to the dock recently and decided that would be my destination. Extra: I took a photo of some reflections, and a little "creature" that appeared reminded me of a character in a cartoon or a children's book. Any ideas?
Instead of doing anything in the garden, I did laundry and some housework. More of that on the list for tomorrow.
