Light and shadow

Had a walk to the pond with Tim today - he's still feeling a bit better, so we took a slightly longer route home.  Had some terribly sad news when we got home - a former colleague (and current, though distant, friend) has died.  Her daughter had contacted our mutual friend, Maw, to say that T had passed away a few days ago.  I'm just so sad.  She was only about 50 - far too young.

Spent the rest of the day in a bit of a daze.  Went through a few more drawers this afternoon, and picked out a few things to go to charity.  Then spent far too long looking at plant pots online.  I did order some flowers and compost for our window boxes though; looking forward to finally getting a bit of colour out there.
