Trying day.....

We had a brilliant day yesterday. Today was a little less good. Headache all day long and I'd overly planned the day. Plus the boys were for some reason at their most trying with a certain lack of listening  answering back and tears over anything. 

Took the boys to Melton for a hair cut, 45 minutes away. They'd had bad hair cuts from the local barber and I knew this one is good, and of course we were running later than I wanted. We then went to Rutland Water for some cycling, the idea (at the agreement of the eldest), was to cycle without stabilisers. It was so busy, it was really hard to have the space that he needed. We managed a bit, but wasn't entirely successful. 

Somehow, the entire day was more stressful than needed, I think we were all a little off coulour.

Today I'm grateful for:
Beautiful weather, we sat on the grass and had a lovely picnic
The eldest cycling, just a bit, without stabilisers
The boys dealing with a mother who wasn't dealing with the day very well
