Lincoln Cathedral

Standing above the town at the top of Steep Hill, and looking absolutely magnificent in the late afternoon sunshine.. Booked into the Premier Inn and very impressed with my room, large, spotless, a huge bed and very quiet with this view from my window...A five hour journey, the trains were clean, only a handful of people and social distancing easily maintained. It's my friend's funeral tomorrow, a day I have not been looking forward to, but it has to be!
