Drinks time
I'd like to thank all those kind people who advised me that the best way to handle a point-and-shoot camera is to point it and shoot it.
Very drole.
To be fair, it was quite good advice in that I now have a card full of potential bllps, taken at all times of day and night - the only probem now is that I can't download them on to my PC.
I think it might be a naff card-reader, but to check that out I'll wait until our IT people come in in the morning. These people are the salt of the earth, and are probably the most intelligent people on the planet, and are possibly going to read this tomorrow. So I won't have a bad thing said against them. I'm sure they will become model citizens when they grow up.
So it looked like being a bit of a dry blip day, when I realised that today is the feast of St. George.
On St. Patrick's day, loads of people went down the pub to drink gallons of half-priced Guinness and river-dance the night away, but today, most people I talked to didn't even know what day it was.
Come to think of it, I never know what day it is - but I put that down to age.
So I'm going to celebrate the feast of our Patron Saint down the pub - or I might just go home to bed.
