flat as a ... blip

wandered past the pancake shop in the victoria centre today - never been bursting at the seams, but usually one or two customers in - yesterday i noticed it was very busy and lets face it, if a pancake shop isn't full on 'Pancake Day' it'd be a sorry tale... however, the day after is a different story - the pancake shop was empty today - will anybody want pancakes before next Shrove Tuesday? or is everybody in nottingham pancaked out? time will tell...
