I caught a morning train to Reading and did a spot of earring shopping before I met the girls. We went to Slug & Lettuce for a Bottomless Brunch and we definitely got our money’s worth - 27 drinks between 4 of us in 2 hours!

We weren’t ready to finish our catch-up so we walked over the river and had a couple more drinks (and some tapas) in Las Iguanas as well.

I eventually caught the train back to Bracknell to see Ma and a very lovely Arnold. I thought I might have to win him over to being my friend but as soon as I walked in the door he was trying to lick my face. Instant bestie. We had games and snuggles until 10 when his mum came to collect him, and we both went to bed.
