Although there are not so many wildflowers around just now there seem to be many with variations of purple, ranging from bluey to pinky purple.  On  a local walk today I have chosen eight of the nineteen seen with similar shades.  Clockwise these are bush vetch,  tufted vetch, bittersweet, welted thistle, fumitory, comfrey, knapweed and water mint.
