Sunday morning ride

Today's program was to mop the floor in the living room but to avoid the traffic on the road, I went cycling first. I had no idea wherever nor for how long.

Once on my way to Eijsden and cycling along the Maas, I thought it would be a nice idea to not only cross Maastricht from south to north but also cycle through Heerlen from north to south. I do not feel like calculating distances in advance when I am on my own. I like cycling and the weather is very nice so I did it.

Okay, it was a bit further than I thought.  The coffee in my thermos was cold and the snack was not enough to satisfy my hunger. This is me through and through, but boy, how I enjoyed my bike ride. :-)

I don't think I'll be mopping this afternoon.
