Snow scene

It's difficult to paint a snowy view. And it's difficult to take a photo of a picture of a snowy view.

The further flurries of snow we had today inspired me to take this picture - it's a painting which my grandmother painted in the 1960s, of fields near Winchester under snow at dusk. I love it, particularly the almost complete absence of colour apart from the hint of lights on the field's edge.
