Teasels.

Another lovely day.  Brisk breeze but warm.  Continued to tidy up all the allotment beds and put them to sleep for the Winter.  I am ahead this year so should be nice and ready for Spring sowing and planting. Quite a few people giving Charles Dowding's no dig method a trial now that we have plenty of regular manure deliveries from a local stable. I am giving one bed a go but to be successful it needs a good layer of compost and manure piled on top of cardboard sheets.
