THE ICE CREAM MAN

I've had a quiet Saturday.  Nice and relaxed with no chores getting done.  I did go out - to The Co-op.  I went late in the day and the shop was quiet.

There was another parcel left at the front of my house this afternoon but it was hidden behind the bins - and the driver had put a card through my door to tell me about it.

I have found a new series to watch on ITV3 - D C I Banks starring Stephen Tompkinson.  I'm really enjoying it.  So far I have watched around 10 episodes.  The series is based on books written by Peter Robinson and was originally shown between 2010 and 2016

Recently I have been hearing an ice cream van in the distance playing the Match Of The Day theme tune.  Today however I could hear a different tune - The Harry Lime theme.  The sound got closer and when Tino got excited and ran to the window I realised that the van was actually outside in The Close.  Tino seemed amazed - he's never seen an ice cream van before as there hasn't been one in The Close for many years. Jimmy did not get many customers.  No children - just Deb from next door who bought 2 ice cream cones.
