Granny's wedding ring

Today my wife (amandoAlentejo) was stung twice by some insect she didn't see (it looked like a hornet sting to me), the second sting was on her ring finger. The ring wouldn't have come off easily before the sting and tightly rolling PTFE tape from the fingertip to the ring didn't thin it down enough so the decision was taken to cut the ring (easy job cos it's good gold). The night aA agreed to marry me my Mum offered us my paternal grandmother's two rings and this was the wedding band. Hopefully we can get it put back together at whatever the correct size has now become.
