Building blocks

A friend brought her two little grandsons to see us today so I looked through the cellar to see if there were any toys that would be suitable for a six month old. The eight week old baby clearly didn’t need toys - just his mum.
I found these beautiful wooden blocks that my sister had made for my daughter when she was learning to walk. She made a trolley and filled it with these bricks. Each one was lovingly cut, sanded, painted with child safe paint and then varnished. That was over 38 years ago!!!!
