Speckled Wood

A relaxed start to the day. I thought I'd be having my hair cut today. I fished out the card they gave me to check the time yesterday - only to realise I should have been there yesterday morning instead, and I'd missed it! I called them straight away. They were fine about it fortunately, and already had me booked in for this coming Friday. My hair would not look out of place on a scarecrow at the moment so I definitely won't forget again!

My laptop is playing up! Well, it isn't in itself - it just won't hold charge any more. It was never amazing in that sense, but now it can be fully charged when I switch it on and then dies without warning 10 minutes later! I have to use it plugged in to the charger now. And I have made sure there are no background apps draining it, and turned down screen brightness too.

bri was at work this morning, and once he was home we had a walk on the river bank to get a blip. The light was good and it was perfect for getting photos, but this shot of a Speckled Wood butterfly is my favourite of my shots today.

We then watched some rugby and in the first match we saw Warrington beat Saints. The game featuring Wigan Warriors is at the half time point now. They are currently beating Hull FC 26 - 0 so barring a colossal disaster, they should be in the next round. The draw just took place, and Wigan will then play Leeds Rhinos
