Wall Thatch

A local feature. We don't have any stone for building in this area so many of the old houses are made of mud bricks called claybats. This village has some garden walls made of them and they have to be thatched to keep the water out.
We went to Moreen's elder sisters this morning as its her 90th birthday but she had gone out with her daughter.
Went for a nice walk this afternoon down to the river
