Sunny Saturday (Day 1962)

It has been a stunning, sunny, warm day today.
We started off with a five mile hack out on the horses, along the shore (where monsters lurking in the depths scared Red and Berlin), through the middle of Stromness, round behind Stromness and back down to the field. Fabulous. I was too warm, as was George.
Home for lunch then out with the dogs at Skaill where my beautiful wife and I ambled along in the sunshine. I was too warm again. The dogs cooled off by finding rock pools to wallow in.
Home to feed the dogs, then HV gave me a run out to collect the truck which was released from hospital today.
All in all, a good day indeed.
