Shining city

Our countryside walk this afternoon took Mrs B and I up and over Garswood Hill, just outside Wigan. It is one of the few places in the area where we can see almost 360 degrees including Winter Hill in the Pennines, the Welsh Hills and the Peak District Hills. In the valley to our East, the City of Manchester is becoming taller and clearer thanks to a massive building programme.
