Carlisle Cathedral

En route to Scotland for our camper van holiday we have stopped off in Carlisle to resume our tour of #English cathedrals . Small but perfectly formed. Love the ceiling designed by Owen Jones in 1856. Each of the 176 squares has 16 stars ... except for one , “As only God is perfect”.
