Up , up and away

We were looking out fo the spitfire coming into land at Inverness airport. It had just visited Raigmore and was landing for a couple of hours before going to visit the hospitals in Stirling.
It looked tiny from the decking, we would not have noticed it really if we had not have known about it.
We decided to get a closer look and drove to the airport and found a place to park. We walked down to the railway bridge where you get good views of the runway.We watched it taxi and then take to the air.We could not see the underside which shows Thank U NHS but it was still good to see it. A beautiful afternoon so went up to Nairn to see if we could spot the Basking Sharks, we were in the wrong place as they were seen off Chanonry Point !
