Security Issues

Very happy to have Sam home today, his jaunt down to London with my sister Sarah and her family has been a great success with some museum visiting, plenty of pancake eating and lots of family catch up time. Thank you very much Sarah and Stanley for adding him to the mix, he LOVES being with his cousins.

So fingers crossed he will remember the good bits and not so much the security issue last night....

Seems computer savvy 8 & 10 year old cousins were searching for "the top funniest youtube videos" on Grandad's computer (which has no parental controls set) & managed to click through links from there to see a shocking fetish porn posting that is apparently going viral.

They were upset, the adults were horrified and upset, and Sam was so terrified that he would be in trouble at home, that he hid in the washing basket for a while - causing even more upset... I was on the phone ALOT to my family in London last night!

Could have happened here too as the computer that Sam uses didn't have parental control settings .......... it does now :-)
