Caterpillars

Spent my morning texting with my Mum and then talking with Kent’s niece. Before I knew it, it was time to head to Birgit’s for our Friday lunch.

We had ordered our food from a Mediterranean place that neither of us had tried before and the food was wonderful. We will definitely be getting lunch from Peno again.

While we were eating our lunch I noticed that Vic had plenty of Monarch caterpillars and that some of them were getting big and fat.

Being east coast monarchs these ones only fly to Florida for the winter. It is the Pacific monarch butterflies that fly to Mexico for the winter.

Once home again (3pmish) I began working on snowflake baubles and before coming to bed, I’ve gotten 5 of 7 snowflakes done needed for one bauble! Yay. I was on a roll.
