Snow Woods

It has snowed all day but it is now raining and a thaw will come quickly. The opportunity therefore had to be taken this afternoon to get some snow shots in the woods. Although not up to the standard of a couple of years back when snow was followed by blue skies, bright sunshine and freezing temperatures, there were still some beautiful scenes to be had. I realise now though in looking at them , how difficult it is to photograph snow as white looks grey. We covered this in the camera course but have yet to try out the best way to capture snow!
