We’re home again after a wonderful time in the Cotswolds. The weather, the hotel and its staff and their overall helpfulness, and the beautiful villages and National Trust properties we’ve visited, have all made it special.

Today we visited Stratford-upon-Avon, one of my favourite places. The theatre is closed but they are selling tickets for the 2021 winter season. The balcony restaurant was open. Too many empty premises and some roads closed and made into garden café areas, so not the Stratford we know so well. Still wonderful though and the river cruise boats were running and the green had plenty of visitors.

Very grateful for being able to go away and for a safe journey home.
