Present swapping!
Today I took a trip to Sawbridgeworth to deliver some corkscrew hazel branches to a florist friend I first met at a wedding fair about 18 months ago. They had come off our tree in the storms a week or so ago. I also gave her some pinecones, and a draught excluder!
She gave me this gorgeous wooden millinery head which had belonged to her grandma, who was a milliner. So I had to get some flowers from her as a thank you, and she did them in ‘my colours’.
We both talked about how much COVID has impacted our business. She has only had two weddings this year. It was lovely to see her and catch up, in anticipation we will work together again!
