Great to have a cooked breakfast this morning before hitting the road for the last leg of our journey.

A couple more hours on the road and we reached John o Groats for the obligatory sign photo and an ice cream before getting on the ferry at nearby Gill’s Bay to head over to Orkney.

Cosmo wasn’t so sure about the ferry to start with bless him, he was very sooky. Our rental for the week in Evie is fab and they welcomed us with a gorgeous beremeal sourdough loaf from their bakery.

Worrying news on the Covid front, it seems inevitable we’re heading for lockdown 2.0 and probably quite quickly :(
