Passing Through

I've not blipped many birds recently - it's a quiet season, with the Summer visitors moving on, and the Winter visitors not yet arrived. But birds are dispersing so there can be an element of surprise as to what turns up, along with the everyday suspects. We had a brief visit from a Siskin and a Willow Warbler earlier in the week, and we've been seeing birds we've not seen for a little while such as Coal Tit, Chaffinch and this Greenfinch.
