New Castle

The painters arrived first thing. Pleased to get the front of the house painted ready for winter. The house is just too high for us to tackle ourselves. Pilates followed with a few new extensions to keep us on our toes. 

Popped up to see the new playground. I. Have been watching progress over recent weeks and met the gentleman who had travelled up from Surrey to meet members of the council to sign it off. Today the fencing was removed and the grass was being cut. Rather like the castle theme plus railway. Just two of the things Pickering is noted for.

Stephen our eldest came home for a very long overdue weekend visit. We last saw him at Christmas! Catching up via the web is okay but isn’t a patch on person to person contact.
