Second flush

Slept really well...again :-)

A nice morning, cooler and quite windy but still pleasant enough for short sleeves on a walk into town. Collected. a couple of things for our up and coming visit. Rather fortunately hub got a text from Boots whilst we were having a coffee, to say his prescription was ready, so that was collected too.

Not been in Reds all week.....we had our lunch there, before walking back. Good to see most people complying with the recommendations :-)

The afternoon has been taken up with a mixture of things. I made some mushroom soup to use up mushrooms and vegetables, rather than them going to waste.....its now in the freezer. I prepped dinner, a Jamie Oliver chicken traybake, with canellini beans, cherry tomatoes, little new potatoes, chicken thighs, garlic chilli & basil.......then a little chilli halloumi scattered on top towards the end of cooking :-) Its cooking away, smells good!

Hub cut the back lawn again, before we both had an hour reading.....wasnt warm enough for me, so I sat in the summerhouse, with the doors open :-)

Our rambling rose is in flower again.....my Flower Friday contribution :-)

Just sat watching the US Open... not a lot else on at the mo......Gogglebox later no doubt.
