Across the field

Headed across the field (and so past one of favourite trees) before heading into the woods today.

The weather has been lovely, the news less with string signals north and south of the border that a further tightening of restrictions will follow next week.

We had been looking forward to R (my step-daughter) visiting us next week for T's birthday and an early celebration (albeit quite with not even A (daughter)  being able to join us) but am beginning to fear that even that might not be allowed. Time will tell. 

In the meantime have bologonese sauce cooking on hob and a nice red to look forward to as we continued to make our way through Okkupert, a Norwegian drama set in the near future where Norway is occupied by Russia following the cessation of north sea oil & gas production.
