Beacon Fell

As the weather was set fair, we managed to get out early and drove to Blawith Common for a walk to Beacon Tarn (extra) and up to Beacon Fell.  Beautiful morning - wishes of mist still about and nice and cool for the start of the walk.

Views were amazing and there was hardly anyone around.  A couple of mad fool swimmers in the tarn in wetsuits.  Glorious. Warm and sunny by the time we got to the top.  Gentle fell and great views all around.  Good bang for your buck!
