We call it the bridge to nowhere.

£23m has been invested in this sizeable bridge over a small railway line providing access to the east quay at Newhaven, with a view to encouraging industrial building to boost jobs.  Quite expensive jobs.

One of the problems is the access to the bridge which is via the A26 (not as "A" as it sounds, a bendy local road) and an already very busy roundabout which is a nightmare at rush hour and when the main bridge over the River Ouse opens.
